Have you ever wondered...?

Have you ever wondered...why we trash other people who do the same things we do? Do you think it's a self-hatred thing? Or do you think we do it to take the eyes off of ourselves? I was thinking earlier today about the younger generations "GAY & STRAIGHT". Have you noticed how frustrated we seem to be with the stereotypical attitudes that constantly remind us that if we don't do things a certain way or live a certain way then, everybody goes to hell. That's crazy stuff to me. If we were all created EQUAL but, DIFFERENT in character; then why don't we treat each other EQUALLY, and RESPECT everyone's DIFFERENCES and look at each others GIFTS & TALENTS. The "Divine" deals with us on an individual basis, so why are we so "BY THE BOOK". Isn't it funny how your parents can get onto you about something, but it's what they do or what they did.

You ever notice how some Ministers/Preachers gay bash and ridicule the gay communities, and most of the time it's THEM that wished that they could take you home and make love to you instead of the wife they married. Or what about how some of them sit outside the clubs and catch the "TENDER RONNIES" to beg for blow jobs and the likes. I won't even mention the "HO STROLLS" that the cars cruise late at night sometimes.

My point is that "NOBODY" has room to talk if we're all doing the same thing. RIGHT? That's what I thought! And to those of you that are reading this article, please don't think I'm out to get the Ministers/Preachers because I'm one too. And if we'd let GOD have his way; all of us would be ministering and spreading THE GOD LOVE. Did you catch it??? I just hope the people realize what we're doing to each other.

You don't have to like what your brother does; just love him for who he is! I bear witness to that.

I love this topic. I am a Christian. I believe that all sins are equal. I believe it b/c no sin is acceptable to God. Be it a lie, an act of fornication, an act of same sex fornication, or murder even.Bottom line Jesus died so that our sins could be forgiven, and all we have to do is repent with an honest heart and they will be washed away. I agree that we all fall short of God's glory and we should not walk around looking down our noses at each other. I currently have a problem letting go of fornication with my bf (is this tmi?) so how can I judge someone who has a problem letting go of their sin? The only thing that I have encountered (again, I say I) is that all but 1 of the gay people I know, will not admit that it is a sin. It is a sin, no greater than any other, but a sin, nonetheless. So, instead of bashing each other, I think that we should be praying for each other. I pray for many of my friends lifestyles. Those who trick themselves off for money, those who give up sex for empty companionship. So, I agree with you. maybe we could send some prayers each other's way.

I shouldn't judge the sin of other's because I most definitely am not without it, but I do judge or I'd rather like to say I call it out.

I sin from time to time and I have an addiction that I have to work on daily to keep at bay. My problem is with those of us who "choose" to continue in sin (although we know it's wrong and even get Holy Ghost conviction about it) then we get pissed because someone else reminds us of our hard hearts. Just imagine, if we truly wanted deliverance and walked in that deliverance then and only then would we not be concerned one bit about judgments that people make. It then would not be judgment because it no longer applies to us.

I believe we are only offended because we know what we are doing is wrong, we want to keep on doing it and people won't leave us the hell alone while we sin. So, we begin to say that people are judging us or they are doing it too and worse so how can they talk?

I learned years ago that the truth truly does make you free. I accepted the fact that I was an addict, it was wrong and it caused my life and the lives of others distress. When we accept the truth along with the conviction by the Spirit that lives inside of us and we sincerely want to do better, there is no way that we can comfortably continue to walk in sin. We are to judge each other's sin in love. I'm not saying that we are to stand on the mountain and speak it to the world, but I am saying that I am supposed to address-with the purpose of correction-my sister/brother. WE ABSOLUTELY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BY "THE BOOK." That's what's wrong with us, we don't call it by "THE BOOK" enough.

PEACE 2 U ALL!
